Processing of Personal Data

The European Society of Neuroradiology – Diagnostic and Interventional, Regensdorf, Switzerland, ("ESNR") collects and processes the personal data of its members as included in the membership registration form and updated at any later stage ("Personal Data"), i.e.:

· Full name

· E-mail address

· Phone, address and country of residence

· Employer and professional activity

· Membership type and status

· Member id number

· Scientific courses completed by the respective participant

· Examinations and results of course and Final examinations

· Curriculum Vitae

· Proof of completion of radiology or neuroradiology training from their national certifying bodies.

· Proof of training in a recognized neuroradiology centre and/or clinical activity in the field of subspecialty neuroradiology (EDiSINR and EDiPNR)

· Proof of logbook (EDiSiNR)

· Right to the use of the personal image

· Survey information and evaluation form

· Scientific work, such as publications, presentations, etc.

· Email correspondence

· Submitted applications

· Gender

· Date of birth

· Title

· Nationality

Purpose

The Personal Data is processed for the purpose of the ESNR membership (incl. use for evaluation of membership criteria, invitation to official meetings, distribution of newsletters, invitation to and information as well as advertisements relating to scientific courses, events and exams carried out by ESNR, the European Board of Neuroradiology or other institutions, distribution of journals and/or papers, anonymised statistical analysis).

Term

The Personal Data can be deleted upon termination of the membership and expiry of the statutory retention periods, subject to any earlier deletion based on applicable data privacy laws.

Agreement

By confirming the below option "Agree" the registrant agrees that her/his Personal Data is processed by ESNR and/or EBNR as specified herein based on her/his consent.

Please note that the collection and processing of the Personal Data by ESNR is a requirement for becoming an ESNR member. The collection and processing of Personal Data by EBNR is a requirement for the registration for any exam conducted by EBNR.

Members have the right to withdraw their consent to the collection and processing of Personal Data by e-mail to info@esnr.org at any time.

Any member has the right to:

1. Access her/his Personal Data processed by ESNR and all related information as provided by applicable law (including purpose of processing and term of storage, categories of Personal Data processed, third party recipients of Personal Data);

2. Have her/his Personal Data processed by ESNR rectified, including the right to submit additional declarations relating to her/his Personal Data;

3. Deletion of her/his Personal Data processed by ESNR in the event (i) the processing of Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purpose specified herein, (ii) of withdrawal of her/his consent to the processing of Personal Data by ESNR, (iii) of the lodging of an objection according to 5. below, (iv) unlawful processing of the Personal Data and (v) required to comply with a legal obligations of the applicable laws;

4. Restriction of the processing of Personal Data in the event (i) the accuracy of the personal data is contested, (ii) of unlawful processing of Personal Data and the member requests restriction instead of deletion, (iii) the processing of the Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purpose specified herein, but is required by the member for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and (iv) of the lodging of an objection according to 5. below;

5. Lodge an objection against the processing of her/his Personal Data for direct marketing purposes;

6. Receive her/his Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmission of the Personal Data to a third party.
